So, yesterday my band and I both played this acoustic open mic, and our friend Matt Record came down to watch and hang out.
After some EI discussions, he asked me if I had tomorrow’s ready. I said that I had a line and nothing else so far. That line is Sandy’s in the first panel. It just hit me yesterday while working so I wrote it down and, I’m sure, now look insane to any co-workers who may have seen that.
But, I can’t take full credit for this comic. Whether he likes the end-result or not, Matt gave me the idea of Mr. Tackles having been John Larroquette’s assistant. TEAM WORK! WOOOO!
Also, it’s always nice getting to mention Zooey Deschanel, my celeb-crush. She’s probably got an RSS feed and checks these every day. It’s only a matter of time before I get a phone call from her requesting a hang-out sesh with Captain Cool (yours truly).
